  • Can I have multiple authorized drivers?
    Certainly. The first two drivers on the vehicle are free of charge. A fee of $10/driver will be assessed for any additional drivers.
  • Where can I find my Shuttle at the Airport?
    Your shuttle driver will contact you directly with their location and to coordinate through any delays, cancellations, or other travel hiccups. If you have any questions or trouble finding your driver please call 406-417-3186 for assistance
  • Do you allow pets?
    Who doesn’t love an adventure with their furry best friend? Please select “pre-approved pet fee” during the booking process. Please note we do not allow pets in our vans or 3rd row vehicles. Please be aware that any damages or excessive cleaning will result in additional charges.
  • What insurance does Missoula Adventure Rentals offer?

  • What do I do if I am involved in an accident or there is damage to the vehicle?
    Call 911 immediately if there are any injuries or safety concerns. If another vehicle is involved please make sure to exchange insurance information, document any damages to the best of your ability, and give us a call at (406) 417-3186 to coordinate a claim.
  • Is there a minimum age requirement?
    You must be at least 21 to rent a vehicle with MAR. For drivers ages 21-25 a fee of $10/day will be assessed.
  • Can I travel outside of Montana?
    Absolutely! Our vehicles can travel anywhere in the USA and Canada.
  • What is the MT VRT?
    The Montana Vehicle Rental Tax (MT VRT) is a 4% tax on the base charge for rental vehicles assessed by the State. While it is true that Montana does not have sales tax, which we love, some specific taxes are assessed by the state on lodging, rentals, and other commodities.
  • Where can I pick up and drop off my vehicle?
    Vehicles must be picked up and dropped off at 2715 Brooks St, Missoula, MT. Shuttle services can be booked to and from the airport and select hotels. Please call or text with specific inquiries and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Reservations cancelled with 48 hours notice or more will be fully reimbursed. Reservations cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled pick-up time will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee assessed on the base rate for the reservation.
  • Can I rent a car with a debit card?
    Select debit cards may be accepted. Please call us with further questions if you intend to pay with a debit card.
  • What are the requirements for a rental?
    All reservations require a valid US drivers license and current full coverage insurance, as well as a security deposit. Insurance is available for purchase through our booking system. A credit card or select debit cards will be required for payment and any additional charges.
  • Do I need to clean the vehicle before returning it?
    We recommend taking the vehicle through a carwash and vacuuming out the interior before you return. For vehicles that require extensive cleaning a cleaning fee will be assessed.
  • Do you offer long-term rental options?
    We do! Please reach out to our manager, Natalie, directly at natalie@missoulanissan.com and she would be happy to assist you.
  • Do I need to fill the vehicle with gas?
    We will provide the vehicle to you with a full tank, and request that it is returned with a full tank as well. If not filled a small service fee will be assessed.
